Buy a pumpkin from the LV for $2 and register to enter the pumpkin carving contest! Pumpkins will be sold from the LV during regular business hours and judging will take place at the Goat at 8:00 pm on October 25. You won’t want to miss this contest! First place will take home a Gameday Package of two OSU tickets to the Illinois game and $25 gift certificate to Varsity Club. Second place will win a $100 gift certificate to Easton. Three third place prizes of $25 Chipotle gift certificates will be awarded. Get creative and win some prizes!

Columbus, Ohio, October 5, 2007 – In an effort to improve the experience of residents and build a stronger community, Lifestyle Communities kicked off a full schedule of fall community events and resident rewards in the month of September, known as Resident Perks. The scheduled events will run through the month of December, with plans of continuing and upgrading the program in 2008.
On Thursday, September 27, 2007 at Falls at Hayden Run and Preserve Crossing, thirty individuals gathered in each location’s clubhouse to watch the season premiere of Grey’s Anatomy. Attendees enjoyed Grey’s Anatomy trivia for prizes such as the season one DVD and soundtrack, and free desserts and munchies. Due to the positive response of the residents, the Thursday evening Grey’s Anatomy watch will be continued every week and now will include a football watch in the Goat.
The Second Annual Gwen for A Cure Cornhole Tournament and Tailgate Party to benefit the Propionic Acidemia Foundation on Saturday, September 29, 2007 surpassed all expectations and raised nearly $70,000. Three hundred people attended the event at Preserve Crossing which included a 64-team cornhole tournament, silent auction, and raffle for a vintage 1969 Corvette Stingray Coupe. Lifestyle Communities is proud to support Gwen for A Cure and hopes to again donate Preserve Crossing as a venue for this special event next year.
Resident Perks was designed to provide entertainment and extras for residents and their friends. Lifestyle Communities has always followed a model of inclusion and encourages residents to share the Lifestyle experience with friends free of charge. Events include OSU game watches, a Halloween Party, and a pumpkin carving contest.
