Whether you’re new to the area or a long time local, Gahanna is a vibrant neighborhood full of historic attractions, locally-owned restaurants and shops, and expansive green space. Check out some of our favorite Gahanna spots!
Creekside Park & Plaza
117 Mill Street
A must-see location for nature and entertainment alike, Creekside Park & Plaza houses trails for walking and biking as well as access to fishing in Big Walnut Creek. The plaza hosts events such as the Creekside Live concert series and the Creepside Halloween Festival along with a Winter Wonderland light display through the holiday season. Stay updated on future events at https://www.gahanna.gov/events/.
Blank Slate Coffee
152 Mill Street
Known for its speciality coffee, friendly staff, and unique residence inside of an Airstream, Blank Slate Coffee is dedicated to providing locals with their daily caffeine fix. Don’t worry, you can’t miss it’s metallic exterior parked in the car wash parking lot in the Olde Gahanna area. Although it’s hard to pick just one favorite off their menu, we suggest trying their signature Lavender Latte when you visit!
82 Mill Street
A family owned bike shop centered on bringing people together, casual and serious riders alike. They offer everything from bikes to accessories to apparel in addition to servicing and bike assembly. Like us, they’re proud supporters of the greatest team ever, Pelotonia. The team at Bicycle One offers bike rentals for training and ride day, and volunteers to support riders in need along many of the ride courses. Visit their shop to learn more and find the best bike for your ride.
Nostalgia Brewing Co.
81 Mill Street
Formerly the home of Pigskin Brewing, Nostalgia Brewing Co. opened their doors at the end of January with a new look, the addition of a full kitchen, and a whole new line of beers. If you’re like us and can’t pick just one, we suggest opting for the flight. Although, we must say that their New England Pale Ale, Koosh, was our favorite.
Pizzurro Dog Park
940 Pizzuro Park Road
All of your dog’s wildest dreams will come true at Pizzurro Dog Park. With 4 acres of fenced in area, your pup is free to run and play without a leash. They’ve even included a fenced area for small dogs under 25 pounds.
