Meet and learn more about Soojung, one of LC Paddock's favorite yogis.

Learn about our yoga instructor, Soojung Hur . She teaches Monday night power yoga at LC Paddock. Come join us!

Occupation: Product Coordinator by day… and Yoga Instructor by night.

Certifications: Earned 100 Hour Power Yoga Teacher training in March 2015 and currently pursuing 200 Hour Power Yoga Teacher training.

Hobbies: Yoga, Knitting, Baking, Books, Movies and Travel (mostly for Food)

Favorite types of workouts: Badminton, Power Walking, Power Swimming and Power Yoga!

What is your favorite part about this job?:  My favorite part of teaching yoga is that I have an opportunity to be a part my student’s day and their yoga journey. Personally, yoga changed my life. It taught me to appreciate my health, ability and life. I believe yoga is self guided discovery offered to everyone and I feel truly blessed to just be a small part of it.

What can a resident expect from your class?: I teach flow in my yoga class, focusing on one breath, one movement. I aim to guide those who are looking for a practice that is gentle yet challenging by focusing my teachings on breathing and flowing. Each class includes a variety of Sun Salutation, balancing, standing and/or seated poses that aim to increase strength and flexibility. Modifications and integrations are always offered to fit your level of intensity.
