How long have you been a personal trainer? 4 years, since August 2011
What inspired your interest in fitness & wellness? When I hit rock bottom in my life, I hired a trainer when I was in college that helped me drive myself up from the bottom. Ever since then, I decided that I wanted to be the strong person that someone can rely on for guidance and strength. I love my profession!
What quote or "words to live by" do you use for motivation? I have a few. "Do or do not. There is no try." -Yoda; "Whether you think you can or can't, you're right."; and "Failure is the mother of success. Keep going."
What Om group fitness class is your favorite? I love all of them! But really, we have an exceptional group of coaches that we pick very carefully for our class instruction. There isn't one that outdoes the other. They all play a very important piece in a balanced fitness routine.
What can people expect from your personal training sessions? People can expect to feel empowered to be a healthier, more confident, and uplifted version of themselves while they become just that. My purpose as a trainer is to educate and uplift the client to a place where they feel they can do all the things they have ever wanted to achieve, while utilizing my coaching as a catalyst to those goals. It starts with the mind. We will achieve goals together and set new ones. I teach confidence independence and leadership in your own personal health and wellness, and you can guarantee your results will come right with you, no matter the goal. Mind first, and the body follows.
