Columbus, Ohio, March 2, 2026 — Lifestyle Communities (LC) announced today that Paul (P.J.) Huff, Jr. has joined the company as Chief Legal Officer. Huff brings nearly thirty years of experience advising real estate, hospitality, and investment organizations on complex transactions, governance, and strategic growth.
As LC’s first Chief Legal Officer, Huff will oversee LC’s legal, governance, and risk management functions as well as serve on the executive leadership team as the company expands its portfolio of lifestyle-driven residential and hospitality brands in high-growth markets.
Most recently, Huff served as Partner and General Counsel at Watermark Capital Partners, where he played a key role in launching the firm’s first discretionary investment fund and overseeing its legal and operational strategy. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at Watermark Lodging Trust, guiding the company through its $3.8 billion sale to Brookfield Properties.
Earlier in his career, Huff held senior legal leadership positions at Equity LifeStyle Properties (NYSE: ELS) and spent nearly twenty years as a real estate partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, advising institutional investors and global real estate platforms.

Huff earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics from Northwestern University.
