At LC, we are guided by our purpose of building meaningful connections – and as always, our first priority is the safety and security of our residents, guests, team members and neighbors. As we monitor the ongoing developments and safety information related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to share additional details about our plans and the preventive measures we have put in place around the community and within the leasing office:
- Our community team is closely monitoring the situation and staying current with advice from CDC and public health officials.
- We are frequently cleaning and disinfecting touched objects and surfaces.
- We are increasing the deep cleaning of our community offices.
- We are sanitizing internal mailboxes twice per day.
- Additional sanitation precautions are in place for our shared spaces (hallways, office, model units, etc.).
- We are implementing a strict “if you are sick, stay home” mindset. Additionally, any team member developing flu-like symptoms while at work will be sent home immediately.
As you can see, work is being done every day to protect the health and safety of our community. Being able to respond quickly to rapidly-evolving situations like this while providing you with uninterrupted LC experience is a big part of our commitment to you. Please rest assured that we are doing everything we can and reach out to us at any point if we can be doing more. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and evaluate the need for additional measures to support our residents, team members and communities if those needs arise.
In the meantime, the CDC and other qualified health officials should remain your primary sources of current information and guidance. Lastly, if you suspect you may have been exposed to COVID-19 or have been around those who may have been exposed and/or are exhibiting symptoms, please contact your healthcare provider and the local health department.
