LC Names Ray Pittman As Its New President

Columbus, Ohio, Feb 1, 2023 — Today, Lifestyle Communities (LC) announced that Ray Pittman will become the company’s next President and a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team, effective February 1, 2023. 

During the initial period, Pittman will be fully immersed in the company, spending time with Founder and CEO, Michael DeAscentis Jr., LC’s leadership team, team members, and customers while gaining in-depth exposure to the culture and brand.

Ray’s appointment and the strategic decision announced today are the culmination of a long-term plan the company has been engaged in. “After an extensive search and as I have had the opportunity to spend time with Ray, it has become clear that he shares our passion for our purpose and our people,” said DeAscentis Jr. “Additionally, Ray has a proven track record of building growth while maintaining operational excellence. He has exceptional strategic capabilities, proven operational effectiveness, and strong industry experience. I greatly look forward to our partnership.”

Known for his considerable operational expertise, Ray is a recognized expert in the commercial real estate industry with an extensive background in development of business parks and mixed-use communities, as well as industrial, retail, office, and multifamily assets. His role at LC is the culmination of more than 34 years of commercial real estate experience. Most recently, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer at McWhinney. Prior to McWhinney, Ray was the Global Chief Client Officer for CBRE, overseeing account management and client experience programs. Additionally, Ray led CBRE’s Pacific Region as President and CEO, where he managed more than 2,500 employees in 22 offices across Australia and New Zealand.
