Leander, Texas, May 7, 2025 — Lifestyle Communities (LC) officially broke ground yesterday on LC Leander, a new residential community located in the heart of one of Texas’s fastest-growing cities. The groundbreaking ceremony marked a significant milestone in LC’s continued expansion into Texas and was attended by local officials, community partners, and guests.

Michael Mueller, Executive Vice President of Construction at LC, welcomed attendees and shared remarks on the project’s significance.

“We’re excited to break ground on LC Leander and continue our investment in this dynamic region,” said Mueller. “This community reflects our focus on creating places that prioritize connection—where residents don’t just live, but engage with their neighbors, the community, and the city around them.”

LC Leander will feature 430 thoughtfully designed apartment homes and a full suite of integrated amenities that support connection, wellness, and everyday convenience. True to the LC ethos, the community is designed to foster interaction and shared experiences through gathering spaces, co-working areas, walking paths, and wellness-focused features such as a fully equipped gym and volleyball courts. It will also include curated lifestyle programming and hospitality destinations like The Goat, LC’s signature bar and restaurant, and Morning Ritual, a neighborhood coffee shop that will serve as a daily gathering place for residents and locals alike.

As with all LC communities, the development emphasizes long-term integration into the local fabric, with a focus on neighborhood enrichment.

The ceremony included remarks from Na’Cole Thompson, Leander Mayor Pro Tem, who spoke to the project’s alignment with the city’s vision for smart, community-minded growth. The event concluded with a ceremonial dirt-turning, led by the LC leadership team alongside Mayor Pro Tem Thompson and Bridget Brandt, President of the Leander Chamber of Commerce.

The first units are expected to be available in late 2026, with full project completion anticipated by late 2027.
