Columbus, Ohio, Sept. 21, 2026 – Lifestyle Communities (LC) is celebrating another successful LC Pelotonia Golf Outing and a significant milestone in its longstanding commitment to the fight against cancer. This year’s event pushed LC’s lifetime fundraising total beyond $600,000 in support of cancer research.
The annual outing brought together LC team members, partners and sponsors for a day on the course united by one shared mission: advancing life-saving cancer research through Pelotonia. Every dollar raised fuels the work of researchers at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute — work that is changing how cancer is prevented, diagnosed and treated.
“This achievement reflects years of our team members coming together around a cause that matters deeply to all of us,” said Michael J. DeAscentis II, Chief Executive Officer of Lifestyle Communities. “That’s what our purpose is about: creating connection and turning it into meaningful action. Raising $600,000 is an incredible milestone, but it’s not a finish line. We’ll keep showing up and pushing forward until no family has to face the fear, uncertainty and heartbreak that comes with a cancer diagnosis.”
What began as a single golf outing has grown into something LC is proud to call a legacy in the making. Each year adds to what the company hopes will be remembered not as a single event, but as a lasting mark on the fight against cancer itself.
LC extends its gratitude to the sponsors whose generosity helped make the event possible, the players who joined on the course, and the LC team members and volunteers who gave their time and energy to bring the day to life.
